Introducing the Complete Athlete Program
The Complete Athlete program, offered by the National Amateur Fall Baseball Federation (NAFBF), is dedicated to enhancing the emotional well-being and overall success of student-athletes. It provides a range of resources and support mechanisms tailored to the unique challenges faced by these individuals. Key components of the program include:
💥Engaging Video Content: Short videos featuring student-athletes aim to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues and promote seeking help when needed.
💥Support Groups: Informal, drop-in sessions are available to address specific concerns of student-athletes, providing a safe space for discussion and support.
💥Informational Sessions: These sessions focus on prevention and the development of positive coping strategies, such as stress reduction and resilience building, to help athletes manage their mental health effectively.
💥Research Initiatives: Ongoing studies aim to deepen the understanding of the relationship between mental health and athletic performance, contributing to the development of best practices for supporting student-athletes.
